Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, is a celebration of Hispanic heritage which honors loved ones who have passed away. The Workroom has partnered with Zinta Inspired Language to offer this multicultural community event.
Final Friday 6-9:00pm will feature a gallery of local artwork from artists of all levels of experience and variety of mediums themed around Day of the Dead. Items are available for purchase and sales are encouraged! Enjoy live music, live art by Mika Holtzinger, homemade Pan de Muertos (a traditional Mexican sweet bread) by Zinta Inspired Language, and NEON glow in the dark beverages by Michelle Vogt, all as you enjoy the best local shopping!
Saturday 10-5:00pm will be a variety of events and activities throughout the day as we celebrate! Kids crafts, a bi-lingual paint workshop with Mika, face painting, food trucks, music, dancers, pinatas, oh my! Join the festivities!!!
